Service Description

Wonderful Weaving Discover the colourful world of weaving in this fun and hands on creative art club activity for children aged 5 to 7. Using a rainbow of papers, yarns and colourful materials, children will explore two different weaving techniques during the afternoon. We will begin by creating vibrant woven artworks using hand decorated paper strips before learning how simple looms work to create a cheerful woven fish to take home. Along the way, children will experiment with colour, pattern, texture and design while developing fine motor skills and confidence through making. There will be plenty of opportunities to make individual choices, try different combinations and create something completely unique. Perfect for curious young makers who enjoy creating, experimenting and working with their hands. What to Expect • A guided creative project • All materials provided • Small, friendly groups • The chance to learn new skills • A relaxed and supportive atmosphere • Plenty of creative freedom • Two weaving projects to take home • Time to make, explore and experiment Art Club Details Monday 6th July 2026 1:00pm to 4:00pm Ages 5 to 7 £40 per child Please bring a named water bottle and a small snack for the afternoon break.
