Creative Plans for 2026

Art and Craft Workshops in Norfolk

If you are searching for creative workshops in Norfolk, art and craft classes near me, or inspiring courses to try something new in 2026, you are in exactly the right place. At Reef Make & Do, the new year is shaping up to be our most exciting yet, with a rich programme of creative workshops, courses, and weekly classes designed for adults who want to make, learn, and connect.

As we step into a fresh creative year, there is that familiar sense of possibility that comes with a blank diary and a table waiting to be filled with colour, tools, ideas, and conversation. I have been busy behind the scenes curating the 2026 programme, and I am genuinely excited about what is coming next.

A full year of creative workshops and courses in Norfolk

The 2026 calendar is bursting with a wonderful mix of much loved favourites and brand new creative workshops. Whether you enjoy working with your hands, getting lost in colour and texture, or simply sitting around a table with like minded people and a cup of tea, there will be something here for you.

Our programme includes a broad range of art and craft workshops in Norfolk, from painting, drawing, and mixed media, to textiles, pottery, printing, floristry, fused glass, writing, and much more. Every workshop is artist led and carefully curated to feel welcoming, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable. These are not intimidating spaces and you do not need to be experienced or confident to take part. Curiosity is always enough.

Welcoming new makers to Reef Make & Do

One of the real joys of the year ahead is welcoming new makers to the Reef Make & Do family. Each brings their own skills, stories, and way of teaching, and together they create a beautifully varied programme of creative workshops and courses.

Below is the growing list of new makers joining us in 2026, with more still to come.

Sally Hirst – Mixed media

Anne Brooke – Mixed media textiles

Clare Towers – Botanical casting

Penny Lindop – Mark making

Ros Copping – Printing and mixed media

Tracy Brock – Sewing courses

Katie Booty – Floristry

Sophia Shuvalova – Drawing

Louise Down – Fused glass

Rosie Newport – Upcycling with sails

Kate Alsopp – Pottery

Caroline Hyde Brown – Making paper and stitching

Patricia Mullin – Writing

If you have ever thought, “I am not very arty” or “I am not sure I would be any good at that”, please know that these creative workshops are designed for real people, not perfection. There is no judgement here, just encouragement, gentle guidance, and the quiet confidence that comes from giving something a go.

Community, connection, and Crafternoons

Alongside our workshops and courses, I am especially excited about the launch of Crafternoons. These new bi weekly sessions are relaxed, friendly craft club gatherings where you can bring whatever you are working on, or simply come along to chat, connect, and be part of the community. Some sessions will include gentle creative activities, others will simply be about sharing space and conversation.

Crafternoons have been created as a way of raising money for Heritage House, a wonderful day care centre in Wells next the Sea. Apart from hall hire, all monies raised go directly to the charity. They are gently creative, wonderfully social, and already feel like they are going to become a much loved part of the Reef Make & Do calendar.

Looking ahead to a creative year together

Reef Make & Do only works because of the people who walk through the door and say yes to trying something new. Your feedback, ideas, and encouragement matter enormously. If there is a craft you have been longing to explore, or a workshop or course you would love to see on the programme, please do let me know. This is very much a shared journey.

Here is to a year filled with colour, texture, conversation, laughter, cake, and the confidence that grows when you make something with your own hands. I cannot wait to welcome you back to our creative workshops, courses, and weekly classes in Norfolk.

If you would like to explore what is coming up, take a look at the full programme of workshops, courses, and weekly classes on the website here , and do keep sharing Reef Make & Do with friends and family who might love it too.

With love

Rachael xx
