Workshop Details

Date: Thursday 9th May Time: 11am - 3pm Cost: £95 Venue: Stonegate, Egmere Road, Walsingham. As always at Reef Make & Do, delicious refreshments as well as homemade cake and two course lunch are always included in your workshop day. I am really excited to offer this new Silver Art Clay Jewellery workshop at Reef Make & Do with Nicky Wellband who has been working in silver and other metals for over 25 years. Nicky was so fascinated by the alchemy of silver clay that she now teaches this in these magical workshops using her favourite items from nature: leaves, acorns, seed heads and, in this particular workshop, sea shells turning them in to stunning pieces of wearable jewellery. In this workshop we will be making leaves. Nicky's workshops are open to everyone with no with previous experience required. Nicky will guide you though every step of the process of creating jewellery in silver clay as it is worked from basic paste or clay, moulding, refining, firing, cleaning and polishing to create a finished piece of 999 fine silver. Come and join us for this fabulous day. Please note that this workshop requires a minimum of 6 guests to run.
