Workshop Details

Date: Wednesday 24th April Time: 10am-3pm Cost: £ 85 Venue: Stonegate, Egmere Road, Walsingham. As always with Reef Make & Do, refreshments as well as delicious homemade cakes and a two course lunch are included in your workshop day. I am so excited that the fabulous Sally Ballard is returning to Reef Make & Do with another wonderful journey into Wild Writing: Join me, writer and journalist Sally Ballard and together we will explore ways we can capture in our writing and jottings all things wonderful about the natural world. No writing experience is necessary. Come with an open mind for a fun and relaxing small-group workshop. All you need is a pen, paper, and a love of nature. You will go away with a range of ideas for your own writing or journaling journey. Your journal maybe words inspired by nature, about how nature makes you feel, what you see, hear, smell, and touch. You may want to include poetry, quotations, photos, or sketches to do with the natural world. Your writing journal is yours and whatever you want it to be. But however you develop your journal, your writing will bring you closer to, and deepen your appreciation and awareness of, the natural world. Studies show that being engaged with nature benefits both our physical and mental wellbeing. Being in nature, or writing about nature can not only help us celebrate the beauty of the natural world, but can still the mind and help us deal with Life’s ups and downs.
