Workshop Details

Date: Wednesday 12th June Time: 11am-3pm Cost: £90 Venue: Blakeney Village Hall As always at Reef Make & Do, delicious homemade refreshments and cakes as well as a two course lunch are included in your workshop day. Come and join me and renowned bread maker Susan Hudson for a relaxing day making and eating scrumptious summer breads. With long summer days prepare for more relaxed style of food with this combination of breads, the Pain de Campagne and Fougasse just need a small gathering for sharing with platters of charcuterie, cheese and dip into hummus with the rye flour flatbreads. During the day we will be making: * A Classic rustic Pain de Campagne * A large Fougasse infused with fresh rosemary and sundried tomatoes * Tasty Flatbreads with Sumac and olive oil toppings The workshops are suitable for novice bakers as well as those wishing to brush up on their skills, fill their bread bins and enjoy a few hours of creative fun! The delicious smell and taste of hot loaves and baked bread goods plus learning a skill makes for a really enjoyable day. Sue and I will provide all the ingredients for the workshop. Please bring your own apron and a box or basket to take your loaves home in. Sue Hudson is a baker based in South Norfolk. She is passionate about beautiful, delicious bread made by hand with fresh ingredients. Having built up her bread making workshops over the past 12 years, your workshop will be relaxed and informal and you will make, shape and bake beautiful breads and rolls. Making bread is a rewarding and therapeutic skill Susan loves sharing with her students.
