Workshop Details

Date: Friday 17th May Time: 11am-3pm Cost: £90 Venue: Blakeney Village Hall As always at Reef Make & Do, refreshments as well as delicious homemade cake and a two course lunch are included in your workshop day. Come and join me and renowned bread maker Susan Hudson for a relaxing day making and eating a range of delicious breads. During the day we will be making: * Twice cooked bagels * Muesli Bread * Scandinavian cinnamon buns This class is designed around an easy brunch menu to share with friends, family or even just solo: the bread you make will set you up for the rest of your day! Classic brunch revolves around twice-cooked Bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon or salt beef and pickles or try my Muesli Bread with mixed grains, dry fruit and nuts. For a sweeter touch complete your brunch with delicious cinnamon buns Scandinavian style. We will be eating the menu above for our lunch but don't worry there will the plenty to take home! The workshops are suitable for novice bakers as well as those wishing to brush up on their skills, fill their bread bins and enjoy a few hours of creative fun! The delicious smell and taste of hot loaves and baked bread goods plus learning a skill makes for a really enjoyable day. Susan and I will provide all the ingredients for the workshop. Please bring your own apron and a box or basket to take your loaves home in. Susan Hudson is a baker based in South Norfolk. She is passionate about beautiful, delicious bread made by hand with fresh ingredients. Having built up her bread making workshops over the past 12 years, your workshop will be relaxed and informal and you will make, shape and bake beautiful breads and rolls. Making bread is a rewarding and therapeutic skill Susan loves sharing with her students.
