The word Mala in Sanskrit symbolises the interconnectedness of all beings. For thousands of years sages and seekers have utilised these sacred strands as conduits for spiritual connection and introspection. Throughout this immersive workshop, you’ll unravel the anatomy of a mala, unraveling its significance and practical application to japa meditation. Mindfulness isn’t just a practice: it's a way of life, an ongoing journey of self-discovery and alignment with the universe's magic and power. During the workshop, you’ll receive guidance on every aspect of crafting your own Mala necklace, from design to completion: *Design and Stringing: designing and knotting your Mala, following traditional techniques. *Discovering the significance of each bead and infusing each knot with intention and mindfulness. *Finishing touches: including adding the guru bead and crafting the tassel from thread. *A delicious two course homemade vegetarian lunch, snacks and plenty of tea/ coffee *Journalling *Mindfulness and breath work to tap deeper into your inner wisdom and help you create an affirmation for your mala necklace. Best of all, you’ll get to keep everything you put into your mala bracelet, including: 108 Semi-precious stones and organic sandalwood beads 1 Guru bead Tassel cotton fabric Chanting Stork engraved bead and/or charm Your own journal Mindfulness is such an incredible aspect of yoga and it also a way of life.
