I discovered glass over 10 years ago when I completed a course introducing the aspects of glass fusing. I was drawn by the colours and tactile finish. I love the way the sun shine throughs what you have made to create a light show of colours and shapes.
My glass is inspired by nature and the wonderful north Norfolk coast. I tend to pick natural colours and often make waves, beach scenes and fields of poppies or wild flowers.
My studio is my ‘happy place’ and although its not the tidiest! It is full of love, inspiration, kindness and creative joy. The glass comes to me in over 200 colours and many shapes and forms. I make, cut and create glass pieces which are then fused together in one of 2 kilns to form unique glass pieces.
My love of the sea comes through in my art and I recently made a huge jellyfish piece which reminds me of holidays, diving and the freedom of the water.
