Service Description
Street Art Studio In this energetic and colourful Art Camp day, we will take inspiration from the world of street art, graffiti and urban creativity. Looking at artists such as Banksy and other contemporary street artists, we will explore how artists use images, symbols, stencils, colour and words to communicate ideas and make bold visual statements. We will begin by creating our own brick wall drawings, carefully building up rows of bricks before adding graffiti style lettering and designing our names using chunky shapes, shadows and outlines. Next, we will experiment with street art motifs such as hearts, stars, arrows, crowns, lightning bolts and speech bubbles to develop our own personal visual language. Children will then design and cut their own stencils, learning how street artists create repeatable images and symbols. Using foam sheets, they will make oversized initials and graphic shapes that can be printed and layered into larger compositions. We will explore spray paint inspired effects using brushes, sponges and paint techniques to create vibrant backgrounds filled with colour, pattern and movement. Throughout the day, children will be encouraged to develop their own style, combining lettering, symbols, stencils and imagery into a bold mixed media artwork that celebrates individuality, creativity and self expression. Suitable for ages 8 to 12. No experience needed. All materials provided. Children should wear old clothes as this promises to be a gloriously colourful day.

Cancellation Policy
Children's Activities Booking & Cancellation Policy All Reef Make & Do children's activities must be booked in advance. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept drop in bookings on the day as sessions, materials and, most importantly, staffing are carefully planned in advance. Mini Makers All children attending Mini Makers must be accompanied throughout the session by one responsible adult. Mini Makers activities are designed for toddlers and preschool children. Siblings are very welcome, but each child taking part in the activities must have their own booked place. Do feel free to bring babes in arms. Junior Art Camps, Holiday Art Camps & Studio Nights To ensure every child has the best possible experience, our children's sessions require sufficient numbers to run. If a session does not reach the required numbers, Reef Make & Do reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the session. In this event, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another suitable session. If You Need to Cancel If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Where at least 72 hours' notice is given, we will be happy to transfer your booking to another suitable children's session, subject to availability. Unfortunately, refunds or transfers cannot be offered for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the session or for non attendance. In exceptional circumstances, refunds or transfers may be offered at the discretion of Reef Make & Do. If Reef Make & Do Needs to Cancel If Reef Make & Do needs to cancel a session for any reason, including insufficient numbers, illness or any other unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another suitable session.
