Service Description
Stitched Snacks Get ready for a day of sewing, stuffing and sweet treats with a twist. Inspired by favourite snacks, puddings and fast foods, children will design and create their own large soft fabric sculptures using colourful felt, fabric and simple sewing techniques. From doughnuts and cupcakes to burgers, pizza slices, sushi, ice creams and biscuits, the possibilities are endless. Throughout the day, children will learn how to safely use a sewing machine, sew seams, add decorative details and transform flat pieces of fabric into three dimensional soft sculptures. Once stitched, creations will be stuffed and finished with buttons, embroidery, appliqué and other decorative touches. This workshop is perfect for creative children who enjoy making, designing and working with textiles. No previous sewing experience is needed and beginners are very welcome. ** Please note: Places for this workshop are limited to just 8 children to ensure everyone has plenty of access to sewing machines and individual support throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch, a named water bottle and two small snacks. To help keep energy levels steady, we ask that snacks do not include chocolate, sweets or fizzy drinks. Children should wear comfortable clothes suitable for creative activities.

Cancellation Policy
Children’s Activities Booking and Cancellation Policy All Reef Make & Do children’s activities must be booked in advance. We cannot accept drop in bookings on the day, as sessions, materials and staffing are planned in advance. Mini Makers Children attending Mini Makers must be accompanied throughout the session by one responsible adult. Mini Makers activities are designed for toddlers and preschool children. Siblings are welcome, but each child taking part must have their own booked place. You are welcome to bring babies in arms. Junior Art Camps, Holiday Art Camps and Studio Nights Sessions need sufficient numbers to run. If a session does not reach the required number, Reef Make & Do may cancel or reschedule it. If we cancel, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another suitable session, subject to availability. If You Need to Cancel If you need to cancel, please let me know as soon as possible. If you cancel at least two weeks before the session, I will refund your booking in full. If you cancel less than two weeks before the session, I will do my best to fill the place. If I can, I will refund your booking. If I cannot, I am sorry that I will not be able to offer a refund, as I will already have committed costs for the session. In exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness or a bereavement, I may be able to offer a refund or transfer at my discretion. Transfers are subject to availability. Non attendance without notice is not normally refundable or transferable. If Reef Make & Do Needs to Cancel If Reef Make & Do cancels a session or is unable to provide it, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another suitable session, subject to availability.
