Service Description
Cats, Dogs & Dots Discover the colourful world of Yayoi Kusama in this playful painting workshop for children aged 5 to 7. Inspired by one of the world's most famous contemporary artists, children will create their own bold and colourful artworks featuring cats, dogs and plenty of dots. We will explore simple shapes, bright painted backgrounds and Kusama's famous love of pattern, repetition and colour. Using paint, brushes and lots of imagination, children will build up their artwork layer by layer, adding spots, dots and decorative details to create a striking finished piece that is completely their own. This workshop is perfect for young artists who love animals, colour and getting creative with paint. What to Expect • A guided creative project • All materials provided • Small, friendly groups • The chance to learn new skills • A relaxed and supportive atmosphere • Plenty of creative freedom • Inspiration from a famous artist • A colourful painting to take home • Time to make, explore and experiment Workshop Details Monday 27th July 2026 1:00pm to 4:00pm Ages 5 to 7 £40 per child Please bring a named water bottle and a small snack for the afternoon break. We ask that snacks do not include chocolate, sweets or fizzy drinks. Children should wear clothes suitable for art activities and creative play.

Cancellation Policy
Mini Makers & Studio Nights Booking Policy Mini Makers sessions and Studios Nights sessions must be booked in advance as places are limited. Bookings are non refundable. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Where notice is given at least 72 hours before the session, we will happily transfer your booking to another Mini Makers session/ Studio Nights session, subject to availability. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or transfers for cancellations made within 48 hours of the session or for non attendance. If Reef Make & Do needs to cancel a session for any reason, you will be offered either a full refund or a transfer to an alternative date. All children attending Mini Makers sessions must be accompanied by one responsible adult throughout the session. Mini Makers activities are designed for toddlers and preschool children. Siblings are welcome but must have their own booked place if they wish to take part in the activities.
