Workshop Details

Date: Timings: 10am - 3pm Cost: £100 Venue: Stonegate, Egmere Road, Walsingham. As always with Reef Make & Do, refreshments as well as delicious homemade cake and two course lunch are always included in your workshop day. I am excited to tell you Carole Ward and Julie Miller from Miller & Ward will be running a new MULTIWICK CANDLE MAKING WORKSHOP. In this workshop we will be making a large multi-wick candle with a wooden lid as well as an amber travel candle and wax melts. During the day you will learn the steps involved in making your candles and fragranced wax melts, giving you the confidence and knowledge to create your own candles and melts at home. This workshop is designed for total beginners and focuses on the use of natural waxes. We will guide you through wax selection, wick sizing, fragrance choices, safety and regulatory requirements. During the workshop you will be making one travel candle, one 200g container candle and a variety of wax melts. All equipment and materials will be provided, as well as an apron. You will be given printed instructions to take away with you although you may want to bring a notebook and pen to make further notes.
