PAINTERS: FEBRUARY Block of 4

Weekly Painting with the fabulous Mary Blue: FEBRUARY

I have said many times "drawing is the foundation of any painting." We will be buidling upon this idea and developing our draftsmanship. In this 4 week February series we will expand our understanding of preparatory sketches to work out problems in composition for a painting. We will also look at setting up objects on the perimeter of a still life and draw from the outside in, making connections aling the way.

Bring charcoal, ink and gouache to create paintings of interest and emotional depth. .
