Workshop Details
Join Rosie Newport in North Norfolk for a festive and imaginative workshop creating reusable Christmas crackers and crowns from salvaged sail cloth and reclaimed materials. This workshop focuses on sustainability, creativity, and making something meaningful that can be enjoyed year after year.
You will be guided through the process of sewing a reusable Christmas cracker using straightforward, accessible techniques. The sewing is simple and supported, making this workshop suitable for complete beginners. The emphasis is on the idea, the reuse of materials, and the pleasure of making something personal rather than technical accuracy.
Once your cracker is constructed, the fun really begins. Rosie brings treasure boxes filled with jewels, trinkets, and embellishments to decorate your crackers and create unique crowns for each recipient. There is also the opportunity to make small keyrings to include as gifts, along with jokes and trivia to complete the traditional Christmas cracker experience.
