Create your own botanical cast from seasonal flowers and foliage with artist Clare Towers

Join artist Clare Towers of The Foxglove Tree for a wonderfully absorbing day of botanical casting at Reef Make & Do in North Norfolk.

Working with clay, plaster and beautiful seasonal botanicals, you will learn how to capture the delicate details of flowers, leaves, grasses and foliage in plaster, creating your own permanent botanical artwork.

Choose to make either a square botanical tile, perfect for hanging or displaying, or a round botanical cast with a central opening, which can be hung with ribbon or displayed with a candle at its centre.

No two casts will ever be quite the same. The plants you choose, the way you arrange them and all those tiny veins, stems and textures will become part of your finished piece.
