PATTERN MAKING WITH INDIGO- 1 DAY 19th September

Join us in North Norfolk for a full day pattern making workshop exploring the magic of indigo dye and traditional resist techniques inspired by Japanese Shibori.

This colourful and creative workshop is designed to introduce you to the art of pattern making with indigo, offering a relaxed and hands on day of experimentation, discovery, and making. It is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience who would like to deepen their understanding of pattern making.

The focus of the day is on learning and exploring a range of Shibori inspired resist techniques. You will experiment with wrapping, binding, clamping, stitching, and the use of cylinders to create beautifully patterned designs on natural fabrics. Each technique is demonstrated clearly, with plenty of time to practise and see how different approaches affect the final result.
