Weekly Painting with the fabulous Mary Blue: MARCH
COMPOSITIONAL SKILLS
In this half block we will be looking at composition and scale. We will work on minatures and large format paintings to explore the boundaries and power of the scale and placement. The strength of good composition will be discussed and analysed and we will do hands on exercises designed to increase your ability to shift something around in your painting to give it a stronger composition.
We will do a life drawing/ painting including painting each other in pairs as well as paint a life model.
Bring paints plus charcoal, A3 paper and your sketch book.
