Join us in North Norfolk for a festive afternoon Mince Pie Mayhem workshop, learning how to make homemade mincemeat and beautifully short, crumbly pastry before baking a million and one Christmas mince pies!
Come and get ready for Christmas with me in this joyful, flour dusted, wonderfully festive afternoon of baking and making. This workshop is all about learning the foundations of great mince pies and then having fun creating lots of delicious variations to take home and share.
You will begin by making your own rich, fragrant mincemeat from scratch, learning how to balance fruit, spice, and citrus to create a filling that is full of flavour and far superior to anything shop bought. We will then move on to making beautifully short, crumbly pastry, with clear guidance on handling, rolling, and shaping.
