There is something wonderfully mesmerising about paper marbling. Drops of colour float across the surface of water, combs and rakes pull them into extraordinary patterns and then, with the careful placement of a sheet of paper, your design is captured forever.

On 12th November, join artist Anne Hickley at Reef Make & Do for a wonderfully colourful day exploring this centuries old craft.

Anne will take you through the process from the very beginning, showing you how to prepare the thickened water that allows paint to float, mix and prepare your colours and create beautiful patterns using combs, rakes and styluses.

Then it is time to play.
