Discover the mesmerising art of paper marbling in this fun and creative Norfolk workshop with self-taught artist Anne Hickley.
Spend a relaxed and imaginative day learning how to ‘paint’ on water using centuries-old marbling techniques alongside some modern twists. This beautiful art form is all about play, colour, and curiosity, and is open to everyone — even if you do not consider yourself creative.
During the workshop you will:
● Learn how to make the thickened water on which paints will float
● Prepare papers and paints ready for marbling
● Experiment with combs, rakes, and styluses to create pattern and movement
