What will I learn on this beginners pottery course

Across six relaxed sessions you will learn hand building wheel throwing trimming and glazing. We keep groups small so you get plenty of guidance and time on the wheel.

Do I need any experience or equipment

No experience needed. All clay glazes tools and firings are included. Wear comfy clothes and bring an apron if you have one.

Can I take home what I make

Yes. Your pieces are fired and glazed as part of the course so you will take home finished work to use and enjoy.

Under the expert guidance of our newest maker, Louise Down from Coastal Glass Mundesley, you will learn how to design and handcraft your own glass suncatcher, tealight, or coaster. Working with an inspiring array of coloured glass pieces, you will experiment with layering, pattern, and composition before your design is kiln-fused to produce a smooth, luminous finish.

This half-day session offers the perfect introduction to glass fusing, ideal for beginners and anyone wishing to explore a new creative medium. You will leave with a stunning, professional-quality piece that catches the light and reminds you of a day spent making something magical.

All tools and materials are provided, and your finished work will be professionally fired and ready for collection or posting once complete.
