PATTERN MAKING WITH INDIGO- 2 DAYS

Join me, Rachael Janes, in North Norfolk for a two day immersive pattern making workshop exploring indigo dye and Japanese Shibori techniques in depth.

This two day workshop offers the opportunity to slow down and fully immerse yourself in the process of pattern making with indigo. Spread across two consecutive days, it allows time for deeper exploration, more confident experimentation, and a richer understanding of how patterns develop through repetition and layering.

Across the two days, you will explore a wide range of Shibori inspired resist techniques, including wrapping, binding, clamping, stitching, and working with cylinders to create complex and expressive patterns on natural fabrics. The extended format allows you to test ideas, reflect on results, and return to the dye with fresh perspective on the second day.
