Join us for this new half day workshop with the wonderful Sue Welfare as we explore the joys of block printing on both paper and fabric.

Sue is a much loved Norfolk artist whose work ranges from lino prints to pop up cards, automata, cyanotypes, and all manner of inventive making. She brings a warm, encouraging approach that is perfect for complete beginners as well as those looking to try something new.

This introductory session begins with inking and printing techniques using commercial printing blocks. You will experiment with pattern, composition, and simple repeats while creating your own decorative wrapping papers before moving on to fabric. You will then print a tote bag or a tea towel to take home.
