ABSTRACT PAINTED HOOP & STITCHING

Join artist Anne Brooke in North Norfolk for a relaxed and exploratory creative workshop combining abstract painting, expressive mark making, and hand stitching. This workshop is designed to gently remove the fear of the blank fabric and replace it with confidence, curiosity, and a sense of play.

The morning session focuses on painting and mark making techniques that help you build layered, interesting backgrounds on fabric. Anne will guide you through a range of approaches using paint, inks, and mixed media, encouraging experimentation and freedom rather than a finished outcome. This stage is all about loosening up and discovering what happens when you allow marks to evolve naturally.
