Workshop Details

Join us for this brand new Christmas weaving workshop day when you will weave your own Christmas trees. Date: Wednesday 26th November Time: 10am - 5pm Cost: £155 Venue: Stonegate Farm, Little Walsingham. Norfolk NR22 6BS Come and learn how to weave the fabric for your own unique Christmas Tree Decorations. These little trees look beautiful on any mantelpiece or windowsill during the festive period. You will spend a calm and creative morning weaving enough fabric to make one large and one small Christmas tree. This will be done on a table-top rigid heddle loom and you will get to choose from Julia's huge stash of yarns, ribbons and silks to get the colours and texture that you would like. After a delicious two course lunch we will interface your fabric and cut and sew your trees. Very simple sewing I promise, just straight lines! We will stuff the trees, add the wooden trunks and wood stands and sew by hand to secure. If you wish you can embellish your trees with cute buttons, Finally, we will top your Christmas trees with a felted star to finish it off. Take them home to enjoy over the Christmas Celebrations or give them to someone special as a personal Christmas gift. This workshop is open to all.
