This immersive workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore visual journalling, sketchbook storytelling, hand lettering and creative documentation — whether you're new to drawing or returning after a long break. In this beautifully guided session, Chrissie will share the techniques she uses to capture everyday moments — not just the big, shiny highlights of life, but the quiet, personal and in-between bits too. Through illustration, collage, playful hand-drawn maps, handwritten notes and more, you’ll build a visual diary that’s entirely your own. Expect expert teaching, gentle encouragement, and simple ways to overcome “sketchbook fear” — that daunting first blank page. This day is for anyone who loves imagery, loves stories, and perhaps thinks they "can’t draw" (you absolutely can). Whether you speak in words, pictures or both, Sketchbook Diaries is a chance to reconnect with your creativity and leave with a sketchbook filled with ideas, pages in progress, and the confidence to carry on. All materials are provided (though feel free to bring favourite pens or paints). And, as always at Reef Make & Do, you’ll be thoroughly looked after with a two-course homemade lunch, generous refreshments, and plenty of cake throughout the day.
