SKETCHBOOK DIARIES
With the author of ‘The Diary of an Artist in Lockdown’ Chrissie Nicholls.
Learn ways and tricks, to document your life visually, using illustration, collage, hand lettering, maps and more. This packed workshop will give you the confidence to start recording not just the wonderful things that happen in life, but also the small details that are often overlooked or forgotten and the tricky moments.
We all know journalling is good for our souls and peace of mind but not everyone can sit and write, some of us want to include drawings amid our writing and seem of us speak in images rather than words. We’ll also cover sketchbook nerves and how to overcome that first mark on the page.
If you can draw, think you can’t draw, haven’t drawn for a while, then this workshop is for you. It’s aimed at beginners, people who’ve drawn all their lives and everyone in between!
You’ll learn how to carry on and take away a sketchbook and head full of ideas!
All materials are provided, if you would like to bring your own drawing pens, pencils or watercolours please feel free to.
This will be a long creative day but do not worry because, as well as your wonderful making, we will be indulging together in a delicious homemade two course lunch as well as copious amounts of cake and refreshments to keep you going.
