As always at Reef Make & Do, refreshments as well as delicious homemade cake and two course lunch are included in your workshop day. A short introduction to creating pop ups Sue Welfare has a real love for pop-up books and has been creating her own pop ups as gifts, narrative cards and collectables for several years. Recently she has developed quite an obsession with it and I have loved watching out for her creations on her social media accounts so begged her to come and run this workshop to teach us all how to make them! This short introductory workshop will give you a chance to explore simple mechanisms to create your own exquisite miniature pop-up worlds to make into cards or books. An ability to draw is required to create pop ups like Sue's; however in her workshops you can also use collage and images from books and vintage cuttings to create stunning pop ups too. Paper, glue and basic drawing, painting and cutting materials will be provided but if you would like to bring along your own paints or drawing materials you are welcome to do so. Please bring an apron. ** Please note that there will need to be a minimum of 6 people booked for this workshop to go ahead. If not we will notify you ahead of the workshop date and you will be refunded in full.
