Join us and the amazing artist Sue Welfare for a wonderfully creative day making Christmas pop up cards. Date: Wednesday 5th November Times: 10am - 3:30pm Cost: £120 Venue: Stonegate Farm, 12 Egmere Road, Little Walsingham. NR22 6BS Sue Welfare has a real love for pop-up books and has been creating her own pop ups as gifts, narrative cards and collectables for several years. Recently she has developed quite an obsession with it and I have loved watching out for her creations on her social media accounts so begged her to come and run this workshop to teach us all how to make them! This short introductory workshop will give you a chance to explore simple mechanisms to create your own exquisite miniature Christmas pop-up worlds to make into cards or books. An ability to draw is ideal to create pop ups like Sue's; however, in her workshops you can also use collage and images from books and vintage cuttings to create stunning pop ups too, as in the images attached from the previous pop up workshop. Paper, glue and basic drawing, painting and cutting materials will be provided but if you would like to bring along your own paints, drawing materials or images you are welcome to do so. Please bring an apron.
