NR25 Spend a relaxed, creative day with me in Norfolk and learn how to make your very own sustainable willow wreath: completely natural, fully compostable, and beautiful enough to reuse year after year. In this Christmas wreath making workshop, we’ll begin by learning some simple willow-weaving techniques to create the base of your wreath. You can choose to make one large showstopper or a few smaller designs – it’s entirely up to you. Once the structure is in place, we’ll dress our wreaths with an inspiring selection of seasonal materials including dried and fresh foraged foliage, seed heads, herbs, feathers, and vintage fabric ribbons. You can go simple and natural or big and bold – this workshop is all about embracing your personal style and enjoying the process of creating something truly bespoke. Every material used has been carefully selected with sustainability in mind – no wires, foams, or plastics – so you can feel good about making something both festive and environmentally conscious. Once Christmas is over, your willow wreath can be stored away for future seasons or redressed with fresh foliage throughout the year. All materials are included, but you’re very welcome to bring along any foraged finds or favourite trimmings from your own garden to personalise your creation even further.
