Workshop Details
Date: Thursday 5th October Time: 10am-2pm Cost: £100 As always at Reef House refreshments as well as delicious homemade cake and lunch are included in your workshop day. Come and join me and the lovely Claire Howard at Reef House for a silver jewellery workshop where you will be making 2 different pairs of beautiful circle design earrings . During our jewellery making session, you will be making 2 pairs of earrings, one stud pair and one drop pair, both of the same style. You will be using sterling silver wire to make a circle and will be texturing it with a range of hammers, you will be able to practise on copper. We will learn to solder in order to close the circle and attach the post for a stud earring and for the other pair we will make the ear-wires ourselves using thin silver wire. Your earrings will be polished whilst you relax and chat all things creative with your fellow makers! Claire will provide packaging for you to parcel up your ring if you want it to be a gift for a special someone. All tools are provided for you, along with help for you to make as beautiful and perfect a spinning ring as possible. Health and Safety - please make sure you are wearing closed-toed sensible footwear and that long hair is tied back whilst soldering. Safety glasses will be provided for yuse when soldering and other relevant tasks. Where possible you will have your own set of tools.
