Workshop Details
Date: Friday 29th September Time: 10am-2pm Cost: £105 As always at Reef House refreshments as well as delicious homemade cake and lunch are included in your workshop day. Come and join me and the lovely Claire Howard at Reef House for a silver jewellery workshop making a beautiful silver charm bracelet. I love to make a bangle and love the clink of the charms next to each other. During this workshop you will practice making a bangle with some copper wire and then you will make a bangle using sterling silver wire. You will also use some copper to practise your stamping skills and then using sterling silver sheet, you will cut your disk for your charm out, stamp your design and make a hole in the disk ready for your jump ring. Finally, you will attach the charm and then give everything a really good polish so it will be ready to wear. Claire will provide packaging for you to parcel up your ring if you want it to be a gift for a special someone. All tools are provided for you, along with help for you to make as beautiful and perfect charm bracelet as possible. Health and Safety - please make sure you are wearing closed-toed sensible footwear and that long hair is tied back whilst soldering. Safety glasses will be provided for yuse when soldering and other relevant tasks. Where possible you will have your own set of tools, otherwise antibacterial wipes will be provided to clean tools between use.
