Workshop Details
Date: Thursday 18th March Times: 10am-4pm Cost: £95 As always at Reef House, refreshments as well as delicious homemade cake and lunch are always included in the workshop day. I am very excited that Norfolk artist Amelia Bowman is joining me at Reef House to run this fabulous 1 day Drypoint printing workshop. Drypoint is a printmaking technique in which an image is etched into a print plate with a needle and then printed using specialist inks and a print press. It is an easy, fun and satisfying technique that allows you to experiment with an image in many different ways. In this workshop students will make a drypoint plate and also learn about Amelia's trademark ‘chine-colle’ process, having the chance to try it out as they create a series of prints that they can take away with them. All materials will be provided for the workshop but please bring an apron. Also please don't wear anything new or 'best' as the ink may stain.
